I think the best free program that I've found was OSLO and the best knowledge base was ATM. I have to confess, I'm not an amateur telescope maker. So I hope that you will bear with me, and maybe I can learn some, and be able to contribute some. Since I am a beginner, I was hoping that I might get some suggestions on which article I should read and study first from this list: http://www.atmsite.org/keyword.html My goal is to build an optics system for a projector. A rear projection t.v. to be more specific. I am basing my design off of this site's design: http://www.lumenlab.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8972. So I want to learn everything I can about designing an optics system, and I was hoping that I might be able to use the best source (you guys here) so that I might achieve that goal. --------------------------------- Choose the right car based on your needs.
